I met Clarae and Oliver at a styled shoot one year prior to their wedding on the Oregon Coast. Clarae runs an event rentals company, and was supplying some furniture for our styled shoot. Oliver was helping load-in the heavy stuff. It was sweet how they worked as a team together. I didn't think much of it, but got excited when I saw their inquiry hit my inbox. "Oh that fun (and attractive) couple from the beach!" I thought. Perfect.

Clarae and Oliver perfectly balanced intimacy and whimsy at their backyard wedding in Eugene, Oregon. The wedding was hosted in the bride's family backyard, which had ample space for guests to roam around, as well as beautiful views of the valley below. Clarae's family had planted over 1,000 tulip buds almost a year prior to their wedding, so that they would bloom at the exact right time, and the couple could walk amongst a rainbow of pastel blossoms on their wedding day. It was incredible.

They chose super 8 and digital for their wedding film. One of Clarae's friends at Sondergraph Photography provided the super 8 footage. I edited it into their final film, and I think the two meshed together perfectly.
