Chey and Ty are a couple of the most unique, talented, kind people you will meet. I was nervous to shoot their wedding because THEY are in the wedding industry as well. They shoot video and photo and content and that's a bit scary when you have to impress someone who already has a deep knowledge of the work you're doing. However, their wedding day was full of emotion, love, thoughtfulness, fun and intimacy. They created a whole world for their guests to step into. Using the beautiful backdrop of Olympic National Park, they created a mini summer camp for their loved ones. Complete with cabins, pizza parties, dress-up nights, and lake hangs. They even invited me to stay over night and be a part of the fun!

Something sweet about their film - the very beginning shots were done by Ty, capturing Chey and the lake they were about to be married on, while they were by themselves. I love that those first few moments of film are so quiet and gentle. Just the two of them, standing near a foggy morning lake, loons chirping and quacking in the distance.
