When you think of the Pacific Northwest you often think of adventure, elopements, waterfalls, and lush forests. Luxury may not be the first thing to come to mind.

However, as one of the most beautiful locations in our country, it's a perfect place to host a bespoke, high-touch event that leans in to the gorgeous landscape and stunning summer weather.

Here is a collection of my favorite luxury venues in the Pacific Northwest that I've had the pleasure of shooting.

1. Château de Michellia

   This venue looks straight out of a romance novel. The chateau inspires French old-world decor with stunning antiques and gorgeous fixtures. There are gardens to roam, fountains and enjoy, and many locations for breathtaking photography on the grounds. Your guests would adore roaming about the property and mingling amongst the flowers.

2. The Griffin House

   You can't make a list of luxury wedding venues without including the Griffin House. One of Oregon's most popular wedding destinations is Hood River. This venue boasts one of the best views of the Columbia River Gorge, an enormous waterway with vineyards, rocky cliffs, and and old-growth forest lining its banks. The sunsets here are spectacular. With multiple photo-ready locations and a beautiful tented reception area, it is a dream venue for many couples.

3. The Benson Hotel

   Are you a couple searching for a luxury experience at an indoor venue? Look no further than the Benson Hotel. Located in downtown Portland, you can roam the streets in your gown for a fun pre-wedding photo shoot. Guests will be wowed by the beauty of the interior of the hotel. 4. The Allison Inn and Spa

   A gorgeous space for strolling around vineyards, beautiful staircases and a luxurious ballroom. The Alison is known as an elegant place to spend the night, but did you know it's also a fabulous wedding venue?
